It is our goal, at Advanced Elements, to develop new and unique paddlesports products that enhance our customers’ outdoor experience. Our focus is on designing and manufacturing “Inflatable kayaks with cutting edge technology”.
Our kayaks incorporate many different materials and components, and deliver high performance at a very reasonable price. We are the makers of the AdvancedFrame™ Inflatable kayaks, DragonFly™ Inflatable kayaks, and StraitEdge™ Canoe and Kayaks.
The AdvancedFrame™ Kayaks are a hybrid of a folding frame kayak, and an inflatable kayak. Its bow slices through water like a knife and rivals the tracking of hard-shell kayaks. The stern acts as a skeg increasing the tracking performance. The DragonFly™ kayaks are durable and lightweight. They have built-in rigid forms that increase the performance once it is fully inflated.
You can take our inflatables with you anywhere in the world, and no roof rack is needed! Keep it in the trunk of your car, and paddle whenever you want. Or pack it into a remote wilderness area and paddle where no one has paddled before. Simply inflate with a foot pump and hit the water in minutes.
When comparing our kayaks to other inflatables keep in mind the following questions.
1. How thick is the hull material?
2. Is it reinforced with fabric? If so, what denier?
3. How many layers of material need to be pierced in order to punture the main chamber?
4. Does the hull have any reinforced abrasion areas?
This is how our AdvancedFrame™ models stack up.
1. 1.0 mm thich or 0.04 inches thick.
2. Yes, PVC Tarpaulin with 1000 Denier Polyester.
3. 3 Layers of material must be pierced in order to puncture the main chamber through the
hull. Layer 1 (hull) 1.0 mm. PVC/ 1000 D polyester, Layer 2 (tube cover) High density PU
coated Polyester fabric, Layer 3 Heavy-duty 30 gauge PVC main chamber.
4. Yes, we double the material on the bow and stern, and weld on landing plates under the
bow and stern for protection when beaching the kayak.
